Using Guesting

Guesting provides tools for creating invitations, managing RSVPs, and communicating around events. You must provide accurate information, protect your account, and use the service lawfully. Hosts are responsible for their events, invitations, guest communications, and compliance with applicable laws.

Guest verification texts

Answering an invitation never requires a mobile number. If, after responding, you enter a mobile number on the optional texts card and actively select the SMS consent checkbox, you agree to receive a one-time verification code and transactional updates about that event, such as reminders or important host changes. Consent is not a condition of RSVP or of purchase. Message frequency varies by event and your requests, typically one to five messages per event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, or HELP for help, or email support@guesting.app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Content and conduct

You retain responsibility for event information, messages, photos, GIFs, and other content you submit. Do not upload or send unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content; impersonate others; scrape the service; probe its security; or use Guesting for unsolicited messaging.

Availability and accounts

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may limit or terminate access when needed to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these terms. You may stop using Guesting at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

Guesting is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not organize, supervise, or guarantee events created by hosts. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guesting and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
